About Us

Welcome to the Michael J. Farrell Sr. Division and the Jerry O’Keefe Division of the Orange County Board of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in America. The AOH is the oldest lay Catholic organization in the United States. Our mission is in our motto, “Friendship, Unity and Christian Charity”.

Our division is highly active in social causes ranging from the “Friends Outside” project that insures children of incarcerated parents receive a Merry Christmas to the St. Vincent de Paul Society’s “Second Harvest” feeding the county’s poor and needy.

We invite you to learn more about us and to join us as we celebrate our (14th) year in Orange County

In 2001, the Jerry O’Keefe Division 3 was established to serve the South County Area. This division was named after Past National Director and Orange County founding member, Gerald “Jerry” O’Keefe. Establishing the division solidified the AOH presence in the county and the Great State of California.

Our divisions are famous for their camaraderie and frequently invite the other divisions and guests to their get togethers. Whether it is a pool tournament at Danny Kaye’s, the annual Luau at one of our members’ homes or coming together to bring a little joy into the hearts of disadvantaged children in our county through the Friends Outside Annual Christmas program, our members are there to help the community and each other.
